Fall ACC Series

This bi-weekly series features is open to everyone, supporters and non-supporters alike.

Like all our series, the emphasis is on fun and camaraderie, with no points, no money, and no prizes. That said, we do expect respectful driving from all competitors. Everyone makes mistakes, but those exceeding the limits of fair play and honest mistakes will be shown the “black and white flag” as a first step.

You can see the notional schedule for all our series below. This google calendar will always be kept up-to-date.

Event Schedule

  • Optional Practice: 30 minutes
  • Qualifying: 30 minutes – longer to allow participants time to figure out tire pressures; you don’t need to be there for the whole session
  • Race 1: 20 minutes – manual start with full formation lap
  • Race 2: 20 minutes with Reversed Grid – manual start with full formation lap during which participants will rearrange the grid to be the reverse of the Race 1 finishing order. It is imperative that participants be in Discord (see below) in Open-Race-Chat.

Cars

Each round will see all participants use the same car, but the specific car will change from round to round. For greater clarity: For Round 1, the server might require everyone to use the newest GT3 BMW. In Round 2, it might require the use of a of the McLaren 720 GT3.

Car and track combinations for each round will not announced in advance.

You should have all DLC to avoid disappointment.

Setups

In the interest of simplicity and consistent with our “fun first” ethos, everyone will be expected to use either the “Safe” or “Aggressive” preset (individual choice). The only permitted alteration to these presets will be tire pressures and fuel load. Given this cannot be enforced via the server, compliance will be based on the personal honour of each participant.

Ballast

Ballast will be applied per normal BGR practice to minimize field spread and promote closer racing. The fastest participants can expect to see +40kg, the slowest -40kg. New participants who don’t have a track record with us will start at 0kg, unless they request a higher number. Hopefully, its obvious that unsporting behaviour with respect to setups will simply result in more ballast should it result in strong finishes.
