On our second visit to the Ausable Chasm we were accompanied by Team Cornwall. We did the adventure tour before hitting the tubing run and had a great time on both.
The Adventure Tour is a via ferrata run that takes about 60 to 90 minutes. It requires only basic fitness, but decent flexibility and joint function, so it’s not for everyone. The views were fantastic, as was the option of hanging out on the wires, tens of feet above the water below. It’s definitely something we’ll do again.
Our tubing run was pretty different than last year. First it was sunny. Second it was warm. Third, there were tons of people. Overall, it was an improvement as we didn’t end up nearly freezing at the end of the run. We can definitely see this being an annual tradition.
