Today was the first day in a six week journey so it ended up being a lot of travel with limited excitement, save two quick visits with T’s Aunt Pat and cousins Georgie, and Katie in North Bay, as well as with cousin Dan, his wife, Monique, and their song-to-be-married daughter Alanna, in Sudbury.
In total, we covered about 790km and faced some insanely smooth pavement and equally insane rain. Overall, it was a smooth day and our packing approach proved effective (more on that later). We’re spending tonight at an AirBnB in Sault Ste. Marie.
Unfortunately, the evening was a bit frustrating as our new laptop refused to read memory cards, causing a 45 minute tech call with Dell that didn’t resolve it. We’ll grab an external reader in the coming days so we can share photos Andrew videos. Second, I snapped the USB cover on the GoPro.
That’s it, off to bed. Tomorrow is a long day to Fort Frances, via the North Shore of Lake Superior…
