Welcome to Battle Goat Racing! We’re a husband and wife team chronicling our activities and adventures.
Much of our content will be focused on cars and motor sports as those two things suck up much of our free time and disposable income, but don’t worry, we’ll also post content about our road trips and sim racing (see the theme emerging?), and the occasional adventure with Nerf blasters (yes, you read that correctly).

If you care, here’s a bit about who we are. Don’t worry, we’re pretty normal.
Trish (aka pedwar) is former employee of Canada Post who is currently enjoying her retirement. She’s big on reading and keeping active through walks, bike rides, and various classes at the Pilates Space. She has always loved all forms of dance and can be found at the National Arts Centre several times year. At BGR, Trish keeps Naresh fed and watered, does parts and supplies acquisitions, drives, and occasionally turns (or simply holds) a wrench or two.
Naresh (aka schmoo) is dutiful federal public servant. He’s always be doing something, even if it isn’t the thing he should be doing. Some say he can’t “relax”, but he loves to learn and try new things, all of which he finds relaxing. Cars and driving have been central to his identity since he was a little kid. As far as he’s concerned, he’s living his dreams.
We’ve been married over 20 years and still do just about everything together. When we’re driving together, Naresh normally runs as number 27 and Trish as number 227. If those aren’t available, we’ll usually be under some number ending in 27.
We both drive Ginger. We’ve owned her since 2008 and can’t imagine ever replacing her. As of March 2019, we have a Camaro V6 sitting in the garage beside her, ready for an LFX swap, but we have yet to get it underway. #scared.
